Carl and Les originally scheduled a family visit to Glacier National Park for 2020, but COVID interfered, so we rescheduled for this September.

planned to do a dump run this morning, but the South Burlington Solid Waste
District site is closed on Wednesdays.

Bummer about the dump
I was just in Crescent City with Wayne. You've probably discovered this, but the Motel 6 is no longer $6 a night. It was about $100 more expensive than the Super 8 which was $160 for two, before taxes. The Super 8 room was acceptable. There were only two or three restaurants available, as most have shut down through the pandemic, and can't reopen because workers are unavailable - read "can't afford" - to work for minimum wage. On the bright side, Torrero's, on the north side of town, has consistently good Mexican food, and their Saturday night special birria was excellent.
