... to be solved as of December, 2013.

1. Leib Wind, brother of Lily/Lilly Rosenberg:
Stanley: Lily Rosenberg was a sister to Leib.
Leib married a Kreinik in Sedziszow:
Stanley: I came across the name of Wind who was married to a Kreinik in Schendovshiv He had A son who survived and went to Israel after the war, and 2 daughters that came to the states sometime in the 1920’s  one daughter was Lily Rosenberg. Maybe you can  get some information about them  Lily was a cousin to my father.

Maybe:

Name:Mollie Silver
[Mollie Wind
SSN:094129837
Gender:Female
Birth Date:16 May 1898
Birth Place:Sedziszow, Austria
[Sedziszow|
Death Date:9 Dec 1987
Father:Leib Wind
Mother:Ester Leibel
Death Certificate Number:870070126
Claim Date:5 Feb 1958
Type of Claim:Duplicate SSN - change or replacement.
Additional Information:Special project for IRS - tax year 1977 only.
Notes:14 Sep 1978: Name listed as MOLLIE SILVER

Stanley's Correction:
Lily Rosenberg was a sister to Leib.======
Stanley,

Thanks for the hint. There is a Leib Wind from Sedziszow born around 1900 who came over in 1921 on the Lapland from Antwerp.

Name:Leib Wind
Arrival Date:14 Aug 1921
Birth Date:abt 1900
Birth Location:Poland
Birth Location Other:schendisow
Age:21
Gender:Male
Ethnicity/ Nationality:Hebrew
Port of Departure:Antwerp, Belgium
Port of Arrival:New York, New York
Ship Name:Lapland
His parent is listed as S.Wind also from Schendisow. He is headed for Brooklyn. There is no woman nearby who might be his wife.  Could this be Lilly Rosenberg's father and the husband of the Kreinik from Sedziszow?

2. Pinia Kreinik -> Pauline Berger

Stanley: David, I knew Pauline, she was a cousin to my father. Her son Frank had a dry cleaning business. We gave him clothes to clean. On his last delivery of clothes, he had a heart attack in my mother's apartment and dropped dead as he was leaving. He fell against the front door, my mother could not move him she called the NYPD, they had to climb through a window to remove the body. What an experience. His  brother, Wille, was very successful in the plumbing supply business. His office and warehouse were located on the lower Eastside of Manhattan As for, Pauline father, I think he was Tuvia's brother.
Stanley
Pauline Berger was a cousin to my father. I met her and 2 of her  sons Frank and Bill. She would also be a cousin to my fathers sister Pinia . I came across the name of Wind who was married to a Kreinik in Schendovshiv He had A son who survived and went to Israel after the war, and 2 daughters that came to the states sometime in the 1920’s  one daughter was Lily Rosenberg. Maybe you can  get some information about them  Lily was a cousin to my father.  Take care and be well send my regards Stanley

Ok, Stanley,

Just how was Pauline Walter's cousin?

Whose daughter is she?  If she was Chaim's daughter, we don't have her in the tree:

This is a breakthrough, because it agrees with some other records on Ancestry, that list "Chiam" as her father and Elke as her mother.  Did Chaim have another wife besides Rivka? Named Elke?

David
Stanley: She was not Chaim Kreinik the father of Morris etc Daughter. All I know that she was a cousin to my father.
======
Stanley,

Maybe she was the daughter of Nathan and Rachel, the 'cousins' who we think married each other. That would account for her maiden name Kreinik. ....

David

3. Facebook: Kreiniks all over the world, including Russia and Mexico.

David is thinking of posting the Chaim Kreinik tree somewhere so that only invitees can see it. Then invite the Facebook Kreiniks to view it and add what they know of their relationships.

4. Former Florence V Connell Fitton Married to Joseph Kreinik

(High Society) New York Times Feb 16, 1958. Who is this Joseph Kreinik?

5. Andrew's Challenge: Kreiniks in Görlitz, Germany

David,

You are doing a great job in research!  I am impressed.

Here is one for you.  There is a Kreinik family living in Gorlitz, Germany.  One of the daughters is name Anastasia who is a hairdresser.  The family moved to Germany from Russia during the 1980's or 90's as they were officially "repatriated" to Germany as Volksdeutsch probably because the last name is German.  Anastasia's grandfather had grown up in Ukraine (maybe near Lvov).  So how are they related?

Love,

Andrew

Andrew:
The Wisconsin Kreinik's have long been a mystery.  They emigrated from Moravia in the mid-1800's.  For many year when I would do business in the Midwest, I would have people say to me "Oh, I knew a Kreinik in Wisconsin".  Never found them though.  I believe that they are Christian.

7. Morris Feigenbaum, Mortal Enemy
A Feigenbaum Kreinik
Residence Year:1926
Street Address:122 W 27th
Residence Place:New York, New York
Publication Title:New York, New York, City Directory, 1926
Who is Feigenbaum? Isidore Kreinik, Andrew's grandfather.
I have seen this listing before in several years

Andrew: My grandfather and Feigenbaum were mortal enemies.  They had been in business together for many years when my grandfather caught him arranging to have furs stolen from the factory.  Apparently, they were smuggled put under a boys hat.  My grandfather became curious about the hat because it fit the boy so strangely.  He took off the boy's hat and furs fell out.  Feigenbaum was from Szediszow also.
Morris and Gussie are buried at Mount Hebron:
